The Innovative Organizing Approach

Relational. Aspirational. Transformational.

Innovative Organizing, led by Caroline Murray, a visionary and results-focused leader with over 35 years of experience on the frontlines as an organizer, strategist, and trainer, brings a holistic and integrated approach to building powerful movement organizations and strategic campaigns.

Using a collaborative and iterative process, we diagnose organizational needs, identify core strengths and purpose, and then build alignment around mission, vision, values, and theory of change. From there we collaboratively design a transformational plan to achieve the desired outcomes, create the systems, and provide the change management support, training, and coaching needed for long term success.

We are at a pivotal moment in history, filled with crisis and opportunity. Meet this moment by deepening your organizing practice, strengthening your organization, and designing and leading winning campaigns. Let’s work together to build a vibrant, multi-racial democracy where we are in right relationship with each other and the earth.

No more silos. No more strategic plans sitting on the shelf. Achieve mission focus. Build power at scale.

Change the world.

Relational Organizing & Community Outreach

Are you primarily engaging with people who already agree with you? Is your organization or campaign mobilizing the already convinced and not organizing the unorganized?

Build a bigger WE by expanding your outreach and engaging with people beyond the choir. Innovative Organizing will develop a plan to identify, recruit, train, and engage your members, leaders, and constituents - by meeting people where they are, building relationships, and moving them to action. Practice the art of deep relational organizing and build multi-racial and multi-generational grassroots power.

Crafting Strategic Campaigns

Do your campaigns and programs advance your organizational vision? Do you have realistic goals? Are your tactics creative and engaging? Are your members and leaders guiding strategy?

Innovative Organizing designs and leads strategic campaigns that move people to action both online and on the ground. Work with us to scale your impact using the most effective and innovative tools available. Improve the conditions of life for those most impacted by the issues while deepening analysis and advancing an aspirational vision of a world rooted in love, justice, and compassion.

Building Powerful Movement Organizations

Does your organization or campaign have a clearly articulated mission, a shared analysis of the problem, and agreement on what success looks like? Do you have alignment with all of your stakeholders?

Innovative Organizing will bring together stakeholders to design organizational structures, systems, campaigns, programs, and trainings that are mission focused, reflect organizational values, and build power for the long haul.
